RE-OPENING AUGUST 2020
We are delighted to be re-opening August 2020. Please note the Country Club, Spa & Leisure facilities will remain closed in adherence with Government guidelines. The hotel lift located at Reception will be out of use due to essential maintenance until further notice - please be aware access to all bedroom floor levels will be via stairs only.
The health and wellbeing of our guests, team members and all who visit Burrendale Hotel is our highest priority, all operating procedures throughout the Hotel have been updated to ensure a enjoyable experience while adhering to social distancing and increased hygiene measures.

Hotel Accommodation Reservations:
In order to make an accommodation reservation a deposit payment is required. To make a deposit payment and confirm your reservation, you must enter correct contact details & credit/debit card. All deposits are non –refundable however, we can transfer the booking to an alternative date provided this is arranged more than 72 hours from the date you were due to arrive (Excluding public & bank holidays, where cancellation will result in forfeiture of your deposit). N.B transferring your original date may result in a change of rate. Non-arrival will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
Rates include Breakfast and VAT (tax) at the current rate. If you have selected supplements they will be added to the total price of the booking. Rates do not include other costs you may choose to incur during your stay (unless otherwise stated), they will be charged accordingly.
Rates quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights, room type and dates shown. Should you change the number of guests, dates, room type or room nights, then the rates are subject to change. The hotel reserves the right to market special offers and/or room sales at any time which will not affect room charges under this contract of sale.
Please note that specific Terms & Conditions may apply to our promotions and special offers and these will be detailed individually where applicable.
Please note check-in time is from 3.00pm onwards on the day of your arrival & check out is 11.30am on the day of departure.
Full payment must be made on arrival if you have not already done so. Guests must provide credit or debit card details on arrival. Failure to settle your account on departure will result in the balance being deducted from the card used to pay your deposit.
At the time of booking guests must inform the Hotel of any special assistance required in the event of an emergency.
All guests have complimentary use of the Country Club facilities. Children under 16 can use the Swimming Pool accompanied by an adult until 6.30pm. We strongly advise that flip flops are worn in Swimming Pool area for in the interest of health and hygiene. No club affiliated sportswear will be permitted in the Country Club.
The Burrendale Hotel, Country Club & Spa is committed to providing a SMOKE FREE ENVIRONMENT for all our Guests, therefore all guest bedrooms & indoor public areas are non-smoking. Vaporising devises are prohibited within the hotel. A BREACH OF THIS POLICY WILL RESULT IN A CHARGE OF £100.00 charged to the card provided at the time of booking.
Only alcoholic beverages purchased in the Hotel may be consumed on the Hotel Premises. If beverages are brought into the Hotel for consumption, a charge will be made equal to the Hotel’s selling price for that or equivalent product, which shall be in absolute determination of the Hotel.
Pet & Guide Dog Policy
Guide dogs are permitted, advance notice must be given.
Available on a per night B&B rate only as shown below.
Your Infants 3 years and under will be complimentary for Bed & Breakfast only.
The rate for your children aged between 4-12 years will be £20.00 per child, per night for Bed & Breakfast only.
The rate for your teenager aged between 13-17 years will be £40.00 per teenager, per night for Bed & Breakfast only.
We are delighted to provide cots for children up to 2 years of age with our compliments (subject to availability)
Chip & Pin
All debit/ credit card payments made at the Hotel will require pin verification.
All complaints, in relation to accommodation, facilities, or additional requirements should be made in writing to The Burrendale Hotel, Country Club & Spa, 51 Castlewellan Road, Newcastle, Co. Down, BT31 9DR Northern Ireland within two weeks of the event of the complaint.
Gift vouchers must be printed & presented at the time of a purchase in order for them to be deducted from a sale. Gift vouchers can be exchanged for goods and services at The Burrendale Hotel, Country Club & Spa. Gift vouchers are non-transferable and can be used as part or full payment. Any remaining balance can be left on the voucher and spent on future purchases. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift vouchers will expire twelve months from date of purchase. Protect your voucher and treat it as cash; lost, stolen or damaged vouchers will not be replaced. Burrendale Hotel, Country Club & Spa reserves the right to amend Terms and Conditions at any time, and for any reason without prior notice to you. Please note that your voucher can only be redeemed after 3 days of the date of your purchase.
Spa Terms & Conditions
The Spa at The Burrendale Hotel is very busy, we recommend that residents & guests book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Spa Treatments are only available to persons over the age of 17 years. Appointments can be arranged with the Spa directly on +44 (0) 28 437 21304, email firstname.lastname@example.org or use our online booking forms.
Please note that in order to confirm your reservation that a deposit of 50% of the total cost of your appointments is required at the time of booking.
The Spa operates a cancellation policy. Changes or cancellations notified within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a 50% charge. Changes or cancellation notified within 24 hours of the appointments will incur a full charge. Non arrival for any appointments booked will also incur full charge. Please inform us as soon as possible of any necessary changes to your appointment schedule. We shall of course, do our utmost to accommodate any appointment changes requested.
Group bookings will be treated as one appointment, any changes or cancellations to a booking can be made by the lead contact only. (Please note that the lead contact will be responsible for any outstanding payments or non-arrivals)
It is important that you advise us in advance of any health conditions, allergies or injuries which could affect your treatment when making your reservation. Upon arrival at The Spa you will be asked to complete a pre-treatment medical questionnaire. Unfortunately, certain medical conditions have restrictions & in some cases we may be unable to perform treatments. If pregnant, please advise us at the time of booking as this too may affect your treatment.
We recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your treatment time. Please note that treatment times are approximate & include consultation, changing & aftercare advice. If you arrive on time for your appointment, the duration of your treatment should be approximately 15 minutes less than the listed appointment time. Late arrivals may result in loss of treatment time, with full payment required.
The Country Club offers full facilities to Spa day guests at an additional fee of £5.00 per person. This offer is available to clients of the Spa only. We recommend that Country Club facilities are used prior to their scheduled treatment time.
Towels, robes & spa footwear will be provided on arrival at the Spa for your treatment. Disposable underwear is available on request for all body treatments. Robes are for Clients to use in the Spa area only. Swimwear is mandatory when using the Country Club facilities. We ask that you remove wet clothing and change into dry under garments/shorts PRIOR to treatments. Treatment rooms are wheelchair accessible.
All mobile phones must be switched off at all times and we ask that noise levels are kept to a minimum for the peace and relaxation of Spa clients.
The Spa is an adult only environment for persons aged 17 & over.
Vouchers to be used as payment must be presented on the day of your treatment in order for them to be deducted from your bill. Gift vouchers are non-refundable. Lost or stolen gift vouchers cannot be replaced. Vouchers are valid for one year only from the date of purchase.
Valuables/ Lost Property
Lockers are provided to Spa clients; The Spa will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any personal property.
To continue your Spa experience at home, please ask your therapist for advice on products that are available to purchase at the spa reception.
Treatments/ Products/ Prices
The Management reserve the right to refuse a booking should circumstances demand.
The Management reserve the right to change or amend any of the content or prices as stated in the brochure.
Clients using the Beauty Room are unable to use the Relaxation Room.
